Free Plan
- Free account access
- Monthly successful archive quota
- Local-first Obsidian archiving remains available
- Good for light personal archiving and trying the service
Premium
Premium monthly, annual, and lifetime options remove monthly archive limits while the entitlement is active.
Premium is useful if you:
- Archive regularly across mobile, web, or Obsidian
- Use server sync and media preservation often
- Want fewer interruptions from monthly quota limits
Beta-Free Sunset
Some early accounts may still have the internal beta-free plan until the beta-free sunset.
- Beta-free access ends on May 7, 2026 at 09:00 KST.
- Server enforcement uses the equivalent UTC timestamp: May 7, 2026 at 00:00 UTC.
- After this point, beta-free accounts are treated as Free accounts unless the account has a Premium, Lifetime, or Admin entitlement.
Why Pricing Exists
Social Archiver has ongoing infrastructure costs:
- Archive processing and content fetching infrastructure
- Cloudflare Workers, database, queue, and storage usage
- Web sharing and sync infrastructure
- Support and maintenance
The Obsidian plugin remains free and open-source. Paid plans support optional cloud services and server-side archive capacity.
Billing Source of Truth
Server-side entitlement status is the source of truth for archive quota enforcement. App Store, Google Play, and web checkout events may update your server entitlement and archive quota.
